Liability Waiver

As a participant or attendee of any activity, event, or use of facilities managed by The Foot Collective (TFC), I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  1. Voluntary Participation: I am participating voluntarily in classes, workshops, playshops, events, or activities offered by The Foot Collective at Grange Community Hall or other facilities utilised by TFC. I understand that these activities may involve physical exertion and carry inherent risks of injury, including serious injury or death.
  2. Health and Fitness:  I will disclose any impairments, illnesses, or conditions to a TFC trainer or representative that might affect my ability to participate safely. I affirm that if any impairments, illnesses, or conditions exist, I have been examined by a licensed medical/health practitioner and have been found to be able to perform physical activities of the nature encompassed by the class I am attending. 
  3. Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge the risks associated with physical activities and assume full responsibility for any injury or damage that I may sustain or cause to others due to my participation, including but not limited to risks arising from falls, equipment, or other participants.
  4. Release and Waiver of Liability: In consideration of my participation, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors, and assigns, waive and release all rights, claims, and causes of action I have or may have against The Foot Collective, its affiliates, employees, officers, volunteers, and agents, from any liabilities arising from my participation in any activities at Grange Community Hall and other facilities utilised by TFC in the execution of their classes or events.
  5. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Foot Collective and its representatives from any liability, claims, or damages resulting from my negligent or intentional acts or omissions during my participation in activities at Grange Community Hall or other facilities utilised by TFC in the execution of their classes or events.
  6. Media Release: I grant permission to The Foot Collective to use photographs, videos, or other media records of my participation for legitimate purposes, including commercial advertising and social media. If I wish to not have my images used I will notify a TFC representative in-person or in writing prior to the class or event.
  7. Emergency Medical Treatment: If necessary, I authorise The Foot Collective to provide first aid or arrange medical treatment for me. I understand that any associated costs will be my responsibility.
  8. Personal Belongings: I acknowledge that The Foot Collective is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of my personal belongings.
  9. Acknowledgment: I have read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability. I acknowledge that I am relinquishing legal rights and agree to this document voluntarily and without any inducement.
