Toes a mess after 80 years of tight shoes
I have different problems on my feet. The right is larger and dominate. The middle toes look are permanently bent, small toes rotated inwards. The big toe has lost lateral movement. By using this toe expander for some 2 weeks every morning until the pain needs releasing by taking them off, I have some lateral movement on my big toes controlled by my brain and my other toes are not so naturally pushed together.
On my other foot I have a bunion on my small toe and have no lateral movement on my big toe.
Putting the toe expander on as per the right foot, the pain of the bunion is diminishing and more easily bearable. I am finding I am able to get a little lateral movement on my toe.
So far I am very pleased with progress, especially with the balls of my feet feeling more alive.

It’s awesome to hear you’re getting lateral movement back in the big toe and that your toes are starting to sit less compressed. You’re doing the right thing listening to your threshold - aim for a strong stretch but not sharp pain/numbness, and it’s totally fine to build time gradually as your tissues adapt.

If you are unsure - don’t be!
These are things I never knew I needed. Trust me - I did! I’m having trouble splaying my toes - and balance is an issue. If I’d had these years ago maybe things would be better. Still grateful to find them at 65.

Wild Toes
This tool works. I have been using this toe separator for about a year and my toes have gaps between them now. My advice is to begin with using the Wild Toes for 10-15 mins a day and gradually increase the time. I higher recommend this tool.

Our products and training are all aimed at improving foot mobility, strength and control as well as whole-body coordination and balance.
This training combined with a transition towards ‘natural’ footwear (and spending more time barefoot) is the best way to restore natural foot function.
Most people will find that this process will improve their condition and reduce or eliminate their pain, however there can be many other factors that contribute to the experience of pain and individualised guidance is key here.

To maintain the durability of your Wild Toes, we always ask that you handle them with care for the benefit of your feet and the product.
Avoid wearing them in narrow shoes that compress them. Only wear them with wide toe box footwear that gives your toes enough room to splay that that won't rub on the wild toes when walking.
Only wear them indoors or in a clean and hazard free environment
Don’t wear them in wet environments like the shower or pool
Limit use to shorter periods while your feet adjust — they’re most effective in moderation over time. Aim for 10-15 minutes per day when active.
Do not overstretch the toe separators beyond their natural flexibility
Remove them if you feel any discomfort or unusual pressure
Clean with mild soap and cool-warm water after use
Allow to dry completely before storing
Keep away from direct sunlight
Store in a cool, dry place when not in use
