In Phase I (weeks 1 to 6), sessions start at around 10 minutes and gradually increase as new exercises build on each other. In Phase II (weeks 7 to 12), circuit training days run 20 to 30 minutes. Most people train in the morning or evening. You're also encouraged to do a daily walk (starting at 5 to 10 minutes, building to 30) to put your training into practice.
No. Every exercise is designed to be done with no equipment at all. Jim uses everyday household items (a towel, a broomstick) in the videos. If you have a SoleMate kit, you can use it to increase the challenge, but it's not required.
